Energy Bills

Understanding what you're actually paying for.

Your energy bill is the cost of the gas and electricity you use at home for heating, hot water, cooking, lights, and appliances. You pay a daily standing charge (like a connection fee) plus a cost for every unit of energy you use. You can pay monthly by direct debit to spread the cost evenly.
