What is a Balanced Diet?

The basics of eating well without overcomplicating it.

A balanced diet means eating a variety of food from different groups: fruit and vegetables, carbs (bread, rice, pasta), protein (meat, fish, beans, eggs), dairy (or alternatives), and a little bit of fat. Try to eat lots of veg, not too much sugar, and drink plenty of water.
